Participating in events inspired us to reflect on the importance of representing and raising visibility for Latin American perspectives in global Open Science.
We discussed in a communitarian way how was the best way to name the task, thinking about the complexity of adapting the contents to represent the identity of Open Science in Latin America.
We share part of the process of designing, developing, contextualizing, and implementing virtual training cohorts for Spanish speakers, covering the five modules of Open Science 101, initially designed for English speakers.
In response to our community’s interest, in March 2024 we prepared a series of conversations to reflect on various topics related to Open Science. The aim was to collectively understand how we learn, apply, and what implications Open Science has for our region.
In this publication, we share some lessons learned and a series of recommendations to promote fairer and more inclusive job search processes at different stages
