DiploCientifica is both the network and the observatory of Science Diplomacy in Latin America and the Caribbean. It is an organization of people committed to Science Diplomacy in Latin America and the Caribbean that works to promote the communication between the scientific and diplomatic community, public policy makers, academia, civil society, private sector and other sectors, through the generation of spaces, capacity building and production of constructive knowledge.
Its purpose is to be a reference organization for Science Diplomacy in Latin America and the Caribbean during the next decade, in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the region through the collaboration of professionals involved in the interface between science and international relations. Its community has the mission to foster a sustainable, dynamic, interconnected and diverse network.
It is currently composed of 47 people from 16 countries in our region working together in different disciplines to promote the creation of educational content oriented to problem solving in science diplomacy focused on our region, as well as to solve challenges related to education and the dissemination of science diplomacy.
